Getting to Liverpool

A number of low-cost airlines such as easyJet and Ryanair operate from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to various European destinations. Manchester Airport is about an hour away by train and has flights to destinations world wide.

Liverpool's principal train station is Liverpool Lime Street which has regular services to all major UK cities. Trains to and from London run typically every hour with a 2h 30m journey time — check National Rail for details.

Local information

Various maps of the Liverpool city centre and the University precinct are available for local information.

Visa

Comprehensive information on visa requirements and application procedures is available on the official Government website. Participants are advised to check well in time whether they require a visa to enter the United Kingdom. Upon request, the Conference Secretariat will send a personal invitation letter to participants of the conference. Such an invitation is only meant to help participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa, and does not represent a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support.
