Prof. Yijun Yu leads research on the exploration and development of automated
techniques for improving software development processes, in terms of the
performance of both software engineers and the software artefacts that they
produce.
He graduated from the Department of Computer Science at
Fudan University (B.Sc. 1992, M.Sc. 1995,
Ph.D. 1998). He was a postdoc. research fellow at the
Department of Electrical Engineering in
Ghent University (1999--2002), then he worked
as a research associate at the
Knowledge
Management lab of the
Department of
Computer Science in
University of
Toronto (2003-2006). Since October 2006, he joined the
School of Computing and Communications
in
The Open University. He is a member of
the
IEEE Computer Society and the
British Computer Society.
