February, 2012: CODA Tools software Release 1.1 . This release contains 1) software for converting text parsed with RST relations into dialogue and 2) an anotation tool for annotating dialogue and translating it into monologue (used for creating CODA corpus).

June 2011: The CODA system is demonstrated at SIGDIAL 2011.

May 2011: The Papworth Trust commissions two videos based on their information leaflets for service users. The content of the videos is prepared using the CODA Monologue-to-Dialogue technology. The videos are available on the Papworth Trust's YouTube Channel: User Involvement Promise and Feedback and on the trust's Getting involved page.

November 2010: Announcement of the CODA corpus release in the IEEE Signal Processing Society Newsletter.

December 2010: Release of the QGSTEC 2010 Generating Questions from Sentences corpus. The task was organised by the CODA team.

July 2010: The CODA corpus version 1.0 is released.

June 2010: The CODA team co-chaired and organised the Third Workshop on Question Generation at the Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS 2010) Conference. [Proceedings of the workshop]

January 2010: With help from our collaborators at the National Institute of Informatics (NII, Tokyo) we created a mock-up demonstrating the performance of a dialogue by digital computer-animated characters in Second Life. Currently, the dialogue text is still handcrafted, but the characters' gestures were produced automatically using gesture generation technology developed at NII.
