Bio. Yijun Yu graduated from the Department of Computer Science at Fudan University (B.Sc. 1992, M.Sc. 1995, Ph.D. 1998). He was a postdoc. research fellow at the Department of Electrical Engineering in Ghent University (1999--2002), then he
worked as a research associate at the Knowledge Management
lab of the Department of Computer Science in University of Toronto (2003-2006). Since October 2006, he has become a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computing in The Open University. He is a member of the IEEE Computer Society and the British Computer Society.
