World Experts in Diffusion Bonding (WEDB)

Objective of WEDB 2017

The WEDB symposium will bring together international expertise on Diffusion Bonding and provide a unique opportunity for globally renowned scientists to present their research to industry. The programme will include a dedicated networking session that will promote knowledge exchange and the development of links between academia and industry.

Registration

Thanks to the kind and generous support of The Open University, funding will be available to cover the registration fees of all speakers, contributors and students. Click here to register.

The Venue

The symposium will take place at The Open University’s Walton Hall Campus in Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes is 70 km north west of London, easily accessible from London main airports by train (National Rail Enquiries) and buses (National Express). Selected papers from the event will be published in a special edition of the peer reviewed journal, Science and Technology of Welding and Joining.

• Registration; 15th June 2017.
• Symposium; 20-21st June 2017 (including a sightseeing tour and dinner at King's College, Cambridge on the 20th - limited availability, priority will be given to invited speakers).
• Submission of full paper to the journal; 30th September 2017.
