Andyarry’s alternative Tuesday sessions 2010
These sessions are offered as an alternative to Jim’s longer marathon
intervals and are designed to increase both speed and endurance. They follow
the cycle of a Hard effort followed by an easy
recovery, a steady effort and back to a Hard effort again.
The efforts vary from 1 to 3 minutes and are known to be mathematically
challenging!! The emphasis is on the transition between the steady and the hard
efforts while the easy recovery is used to regroup. They are therefore suitable
for all abilities.
