The first week in September, brings around the event that MMKAC members (and specially invited guests!) simultaneously dread and look forward to.

The highlight of the year for road runners, a social event for Decathletes, Hurdlers & Pole Vaulters, this event appeals to all club members as it is the only time that all members compete against each other. With the Tour now in its 26^th year, that old cliché "I'll be fit for the Tour" is heard, like the first Cuckoo of spring, each year in early March.

Six races in seven days: mixed terrain; short and long distances; six pub visits. Each race begins with the nervous warm-up and a scan of the previous days results. It does not matter how good or bad you are, there is always someone a few seconds in front or behind on the aggregated times and positions. Names that you have heard during the year, but not been able to put a face to, are introduced as "the one just behind you!".

Prizes: Everyone who completes the tour wins a T-shirt. There are trophies for the Age Group Winners.

The event was conceived, and has been organised from its inception until now, by Brian Graves.
