The What, Who, Where, When, Why and How of Context-Awareness

Workshop structure

Outline

Initially, six participants will describe briefly their viewpoint on their chosen question. Then we will have two or three short presentations on “classic” context-aware applications in order to inform the discussions and provide concrete examples that can be considered in the small groups.

After a break for coffee, the discussion groups will form, one for each question. These discussions will be facilitated where necessary by one or more of the organisers who will act as moderators. At the end of the discussion sessions, the groups will re-convene for a report on the conclusions that each group has reached. These reports will form the basis of the poster output of the workshop.
