What am I proud of:
Engaging with the local community. Talking to people on a daily basis about what makes our community happy.
My motivation for taking part:
I am a local resident and have lived in Hackbridge since 1999. In recent years, I have taken part in local community workshops and events, looking to improve Hackbridge. Since taking early retirement in 2010, I have spent some time finding out about my area and have discovered some hidden gems. I have met lots of people from my immediate neighbourhood and made some new friendships.
