The evolution group within CESSD is about to launch a survey on resource estimation for maintenance and evolution. This will target around 2,000 software practitioners in the UK.

Tutorial at Profes 05

Juan Fernandez-Ramil, Sarah Beecham and Andrea Capiluppi gave a tutorial on Effort Estimation for Evolving Software at this year's Profes05 conference in Oulu, Finland. It proved a great opportunity to expose research work to industrial scrutiny. Our presence at the conference has opened up possibilities for future collaboration with some of the participants.
